Moulded Ogee Guttering (Large)
The design of our Aluminium Moulded Ogee Gutters, also known as No. 46 or Type 46, is inspired by 19th Century cast iron gutters and these gutters are suitable for use on both period and contemporary properties. Made to BS 9101:2017, they offer the traditional look of cast iron gutters while providing all the benefits of aluminium guttering including being lightweight, environmentally friendly, and easy to install and maintain.

BS 9101:2017
For best practice, installers should ensure that any gutters they fit comply to British Standard BS 9101:2017 Steel and aluminium rainwater systems.
Our standard gutters are generally compliant with BS 9101:2017*.
The standard specifies the requirements for the design and manufacture of metal gutters on industrial, commercial and residential buildings. It reflects the range of materials and manufacturing technologies available and applies to the manufacture of steel and aluminium metal gutter systems.
This British Standard specifies the materials, tolerances, mechanical properties and surface conditions, coatings, laminated surfaces, jointing methods and fixings for rainwater systems, including fittings and accessories for assembly or support.
The British Standard is available from www.shop.bsigroup.com.
*Fitting gutter using rafter or mortar brackets may compromise compliance.

Special items can be manufactured to individual requirements, please ask.
Radius Gutters or Curved Guttering
If your project requires a more complex curved, radius or radii large moulded ogee gutter – perhaps on a bay window or orangery – we can manufacture a true or facetted curve to your specification, normally in one-metre lengths.
Gutter Brackets and Fixings
These Traditional Moulded Ogee Gutters are normally direct back-fixed to the fascia board of the building.
- Our small aluminium moulded ogee gutters (up to 150 x 100mm / 6’’x 4’’) are pre-drilled ready to be direct back-fixed so no brackets are required.
- Our large aluminium moulded ogee gutters (profiles in excess of the 150 x 100mm / 6” x 4”) are fitted with welded internal cross brace gutter brackets, predrilled ready for direct back-fixing.
Other types of gutter brackets such as fascia brackets, side or top fix rafter brackets, and mortar brackets / rise and fall brackets can be provided.
Note: Fascia brackets to be installed at max. 750mm centres.
We can also manufacture special / bespoke gutter brackets, please ask.
Coatings and Finishes
All our aluminium moulded ogee gutters are available polyester powder coated in a wide array of colours and finishes including the full range of RAL colours, BS colours, Heritage textured finishes, metallic finishes, and anodised coating.
We can also source special colours and finishes to match your project requirements or we can supply our aluminium gutters in the standard mill finish.
